Services
Therapeutic and professional support to understand what is happening, navigate difficult experiences and find a way forward.
Art Psychotherapy
I provide longer-term art psychotherapy for children and young people experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties, including those affected by trauma. Therapy provides a consistent space where difficult experiences can emerge, be understood and worked through, helping children and young people develop the internal resources they need to feel more in control of their lives.
Support for separated families
I offer therapeutic support to parents and children experiencing difficult family separation, including those navigating Family Court proceedings. My work is informed by post-qualifying training in complex trauma and my doctoral research into reducing the trauma impact of Family Court proceedings. My focus is on reducing trauma and helping individuals and families establish greater safety and stability. Support is tailored to each family's circumstances and may include individual sessions, sessions involving family members together, or a combination of approaches. I remain separate from the legal process and do not provide legal advice or expert-witness services.
Parent consultation and support
Parents can contact me directly for consultation and therapeutic support, whether they are concerned about their child, facing difficult family circumstances or simply need space to think through what is happening. Through careful exploration and reflection, I can help you develop a clearer understanding of the situation; together we can consider different perspectives and help you find a way forward that feels right for your family.
Professional consultation
Specialist consultation is available to therapists and other professionals working with complex trauma, family separation and related difficulties.
Training and CPD
Training and professional development are available around trauma, therapeutic practice and the psychological impact of family separation and Family Court proceedings.
